FileFone!! This one is an interesting piece of software. It can be used for sending and recieving files over the internet by ringing up another FileFone user by his IP address. The first beta version is available now.
It works -
1) Peer-to-peer with no central server of any kind
2)Has independent send and receive lines, allowing you to receive a file while sending one.
3)To setup and run this application is very simple
4)Allows you to accept or reject incoming transfers
5)Allows to recieve files unattended
6)Can have a list of favourite destinations.
7)Stores a retry list of any failed or rejected transfers
8)This application is available for Mac and PC and also works between them
9)The user interface or skins can be customised
You can download the FileFone 0.9 Public Beta software and the Appearance Kit 0.9 for PC and Mac from www.blackdiamond.co.za/bdfone.html
I tried installing the beta and it's very simple and worked fine for me within peer to peer.Try out!!!
